Samsung officially unveiled Galaxy Grand Duos, the first dual sim high-end smartphone. Built on Android 4.1.2 JellyBean and latest Samsung TouchWiz Nature UX Galaxy Grand Duos is powered by dual core 1.2 GHz processor. Actual SoC is unknown up till now. Two variants will be coming in market; Grand Duos GT-I9082 and Galaxy Grand GT-I9080. The dual sim variant will support dual sim standby feature. Both the handsets boast 5 inch WVGA display, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal storage, micro SD card slot expandable up to 64 GB, 8 MP rear camera, 2 MP front camera, HSPA+ speed, 2100 mAh battery and more. Other features are AllSharePlay, S Voice, Multi-Windows, Smart Alert, Direct call, Pop Up Play, Best Photo etc.
Samsung is yet to confirm the exact release date of the handsets. Possibly, both will be coming in all major marketplaces. In case the single sim variant is not released in global market the dual sim one Galaxy Grand Duos GT-I9082 will definitely be made available globally.
